HeLa Labs and CelData Partner to Decentralize Life Sciences Data

HeLa Labs, a next-generation Layer 1 blockchain protocol, has forged a strategic alliance with CelData, a decentralized science (DeSci) initiative under Cel Group. The collaboration aims to transform life sciences research through blockchain-enabled data interoperability, security, and accessibility.

The partnership leverages HeLa Labs’ infrastructure to create a decentralized network for sensitive biological data. This addresses critical challenges in pharmaceutical research and genomic studies, where siloed datasets often hinder breakthroughs.

CelData brings specialized expertise in life sciences data architecture, while HeLa provides the distributed ledger framework. Together they’re building what could become the IPFS of biotech - a permissionless, global repository for research data.
